Artist's Comments
This was done...in the space of 4 to 6 hours finished up this morning. I haven't slept for longer than an hour or so for days because of exams and like an idiot I saved the mixed media project for last....it's a mess, I am very likely(once I get some sleep) going to start her over and go for a real background...I was just so rushed because it was due this morning...still...love any advice or opinions you wanna toss my sleepy way.

 Pretty damn good, the skin, pose, shading and the idea are quite good imo, the background though, does seem to be out of synch with the persona, it needs some similarity to pull themselves together, so that it does not seem so...disjointed (the design though, is good as far as I can manage to spread my head). Regarding the persona though, i have but one thing to say: more contrast. it fades together, but that might very well be the work of the scanner and perhaps a bit more highlight in the hair - still goddamn amazing talent you're sporting there.
 It looks great even if you finished it quickly.
But since I know you do great contrasts for the skin with highlight/shading, then I would say darken the shading because it seems lacking more than anything else. Perhaps smooth out the background because every stroke can be seen, unless you were going for that effect. -- Commission info - [link] Oh yeah...my scanner chewed it...it's a 14 by 17 and I had to scan it in chuncks first off...and then it just did evil things to the contrast...I think I maybe should have taken a photo....
